Hello

Hi everyone,

There are times when I don't know where to begin here and times when I know exactly what I want to write. Today is one of those I'm not sure days. Between trying to do healthy things like eat better foods, and get enough rest, I have been working on the sequel. I thought I had a title but I don't. Well let's say that because I can't seem to remember what it was so I don't think it will work at this time.

Yesterday was beautiful, sun shinning. The feel of it warming my body as I sat outside basking in the bright light of it all, almost took my breath away. This all came about with a phone call from John, saying if you haven't been out put on a coat, take the blue canvas chair and go outside for a while.
So needless to say, being the obedient little wife that I am, that's just what I did. I'm so glad I listened to him. Now I'm looking forward to more of this warm, sunny stuff. Very soon. This has been one of the longest winters that I can remember. Don't know why.

Last Friday evening we went to Livonia High School for Gilbert and Sullivan's 'The Pirates of Penzance. Our grandson, Matt is a senior this year and has been in their musicals for a few years now. He had a part in "Miss Saigon". He was Uncle Henry in "The Wiz"and the Bishop in "Les Miserables". Now in the "The Pirates of Penzance" he played Major General Stanley. He was wonderful. He has a great singing voice and being a comedy the whole thing was so funny. I don't mean his singing just the whole show.I think the cast had as much fun as the audience. Matt was so thankful for the endless rides he received from his parents and the patience of his wonderful sister, Ketura for the hours she spent listening to him practice the songs. (the bedroom walls are thin, she said)

Well, thanks for listening. I need to get to the daily sequel time.

Until next time,
God Bless Y'all

Gone Missing again?

It does seem like it, doesn't it. Well after I told you about the leg problem it went to my arm and other leg. The difference is I don't have the extreme pain but numbness and pain in hand and arm is almost constant. I'm going to a chiropractor. I have never been to one before. I have been to him twice now. The first time he took a neck x-ray and scans of my back. Also had a lower back x-ray from last year faxed to him. Now it seems it's very possible I have a pinched nerve.

Now, Shawn told me this before I saw the chiropractor yesterday, so I guess I owe Shawn some money for his diagnosis because it looks like he was right.

Hang on Shawn, I'm broke for the time being. Just put it on my tab for computer issues I owe you and Wayne for.

And by the way, the sequel is finally moving ahead. I am so excited. I think you will all love this as well as the original. I am going to have to start using my Dragon 10 because of my hand pain but that's fine. I just have to re-train it to my voice.

Adalyn May Kelly is being dedicated tomorrow at the 11:15 service in North Chili. Then we are having a first birthday party at Wayne and Korana's for her. It's an exciting time for me to get together with our family. I don't get to see them enough.

Sorry to end this but my honey is taking me out for dinner and then to the gym to exercise. We don't get enough fun, quality time together so I'm outta here.

Until next time.
God Bless Y'all

P.S. Welcome to my new follower. I think I'll give all followers a discount on the sequel.

Missing

What is going on? Where have I been? Writing, working and oh, I spent part of yesterday in the emergency room. I'M FINE.

I woke with a pain radiating down my left leg and thought I would scream. In the end they think it was some kind of spasm. But when I called my doctor at 8 am they said go to a hospital to get a blood clot ruled out. They said the symptoms were too suspicious. So my wonderful son, Bob left work to come get me and we went to Thompson Hospital.

After an ultra sound to rule out a clot, he(the doctor) said it probably was something pushing on nerves or even a pre-curser to a bulging disk. So I was able to come back home in record time. I had to get some meds for pain and inflammation he said. If you know me well, you will know that I don't do well with medication. I get reactions. Nothing huge but I always think and research before I take anything new.

Well, I won't spend anymore time whining. Today is a new day and my leg is okay for the most part. Looking for healthy options for all my health issues.

I planned to write on the sequel today but just have not done it yet. Maybe later, I hope.

Gotta go for now,
God Bless Y'all.

Snow, snow and more snow

I think I hate cold and snow. Okay I really dislike cold but the snow was so beautiful this time. In our little village of Lima, we didn't get as much snow as other places. But on Sunday when John put up the bedroom shade he said, "You're going to love the view, it's that pretty snow that clings to the trees and just about everything it lands on." He was so right.

On the drive to church we could see how the trees were totally blanketed in white. One place on the expressway just before the Geneseo exit, there are trees on both sides of the road and the scene was breathtaking. Today at Mary's house in Conesus I saw the same beautiful thing. White covered everything. And because it is warmer today some of the snow is melting in Lima but I can't say I'm sorry, because for me I don't enjoy the extreme cold.

I know I haven't written in a few days but I've been busy. My priorities have to be the sequel. I am enjoying this process so much. It's the editing, and re-doing to make it a better story that is long and harder for me. The first draft, where I just write my heart out is really fun.

I know you will enjoy the sequel more if you have read WHAT'S DONE IS DONE first, but I have accidentally read a sequel in reverse and still enjoyed it. It was one of Karen Kingsbury's series and in my opinion you can't get much better than her books. I am feasting on them. Speaking of Karen, her husband is having surgery on March 3rd (I'm pretty sure that is the date) so keep him in prayer, please.

Until next time,
God Bless Y'all.
