Computers

Good to be back to say hi. I've been having some issues with my computer and I am pretty sure we can have them corrected early next week.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes that were posted on face book. I was very touched. My honey took me, Scott (his birthday too) and our grandson Seth out for dinner. It was a very relaxing evening.

Moving ahead with New Beginnings has also been an issue but I plan on getting things back on track as soon as this last thing is taken care on on my pc. Just waiting for a little money to get the part.

Tomorrow is one busy day. We have a church meeting at 9am, then, Matt's graduation party at 2 and then Mary and Rob's 25th at approx. 5pm.

Sunday a special speaker from Africa. 10:30 at Family Worship Center in Geneseo. In the plaza with the movie theater. Can't think of the plaza name. Then a picnic at Stony Brook with family from Florida.

So I just wanted to take time to say hi.

Until next week.
God Bless Y'all.

Time Flies

I just opened this and it can't be that I haven't written since June 9. Can this be possible, I thought it was just a couple of weeks and I was pretty down on myself for going that long. Well just get movin on is the attitude I am taking.

Korana, I have just looked at your blog and can't believe I passed up that beautiful trip. The pictures are great. But I need to tell you the news that friends were able to visit your adopted son through Compassion was outstanding. Okay, I cried as I saw his pictures and how happy he was. How blessed you and Wayne were to have this experience. I don't think many people can communicate with their adopted kids after they are grown. I know we weren't able to even though we had the same boy from a little guy till he grew up and had to leave the program. They told us the only way it can be done is if we knew someone who spoke his language and then someone here who could interrupt his letters back to us. We do know he became a mechanic. He somehow managed to stay in the program till 22 and I guess that is unusual. Mpagi was from Uganda.

We finally made it to storage and I found pictures that I forgot even existed.

I spent a week house sitting for Wayne and Korana and I was so busy I was only there to sleep most of the time. One kitty, Sneakers 'AKA' Buddy decided to go out and stay gone for two and a half days. The little stinker.

I just talked to my Aunt Evelyn and she sounded real good. She and my Uncle Fred have had company and so have kept busy and I think she likes this. I hope I am as active at 92 as she is. But I'm not telling her age.

I just donated a copy of WHAT'S DONE IS DONE to a non-profit organization and they were thrilled to get it. I hope to get some feed back next time I am there.

The only new thing around here is that life keeps getting busier all the time.

Hey, Marge, I found pictures of Jeff and Judy's wedding reception. Can you believe it? Nancy and ED and Linda and her late husband plus many others. I have one of you too. I'll send it to you if you want. Just let me know. Your mom wants to know when we are coming back. I told her I'm not sure but hope before cold weather.

Got to go and get cooled off. My next goal is a scanner so I can put pictures on here.

Until next time.
God Bless Y'all.
